We all know that "Rock 'n Roll" has begun to come to the forefront of the punk rock community these days. From The Hives to The (International) Noise Conspiracy to the newly signed Divion of Laura Lee. They have all helped bring back the resurgence of the rock and with the help of their friends like Rocket From The Crypt, Randy, and The Donnas, they have helped bring back the roll. Below is the tracklist for the compilation with a rating showing which songs are hits and which ones are misses.
1. Turbonegro "The Age of Pamparius" ***
2. Zeke "Live Wire" *
3. The Hives "Main Offender" ***
4. New Bomb Turks "Continental Cats" **
5. Dwarves "How It's Done" ***
6. The Peepshows "Never Say No" *
7. The Donnas "40 Boys in 40 Nights" ***
8. The Hellacopters "Truckloads of Nothin" **
9. The (International) Noise Conspiracy "Up For Sale" ***
10. Puffball "High Powered" *
11. Division of Laura Lee "Need To Get Some" ***
12. Supersuckers "Shake It Off" **
13. Electric Frankenstein "NY Knights" **
14. Sahara Hotnights "Alright Alright" **
15. Rocket From The Crypt "Straight American Slave" ***
16. Gluecifer "I Got A War" **
17. Randy "Cheater" ***
18. Gotohells "Piece of The Sun" **
19. Danko Jones "Bounce" ***
The consistency "How We Rock" has is one of the main reasons I dig the disc. Yes, some songs you may not like but overall they're "all that". If you want to get to learn about some bands you've yet to hear, or just listen again to some of your favorites definately pick it up.
