Old Guttermouth = yay. New Guttermouth = nay. The fast paced punk rock of the old Guttermouth is what turned me onto the band, but "Gusto" is on the verge of turning me off. I personally heard a lot of hype leading up to this album, but it doesn't do anything to even win over past Guttermouth fans. With tracks like "Gusto", "Contagious", and "Foot-Long" the sound is reminiscent to a southern hick band living in a trailer park, and trying to go Epitaph. The only aspect of the disc that kept me listening was the comedic value that unfortunately gets old after a while, after you actually start listening to the music. To sum this album up in one sentence.... Guttemouth's sound has gone pop, while their humor has gone bland.
