The "Early Years EP" is a six song collection of "The Army's" oldest material recorded from 1996-1997. The EP is basically being released for the fans since the first three tracks are from their vinyl EP "Temptation". It's been out of print for years but the songs are now once again available. It took over a year to get these songs recorded due to problems with the cash flow, but the quality and precision that comes through is pretty impressive. Included in these six songs is a cover of the Misfit's "American Nightmare". Also included is "Nocturnal" which landed the band a spot on the coveted Hellcat roster. If I had to choose a psychobilly hero it would be Tiger Army hands down, due to their abuility to get you bouncing with their goth-billy, hyper psychobilly, punk rock "flava". This EP is definately recommended especially those who are into collecting rare, unreleased material. It may have been sitting in the vault for six years but the band is right on and the EP's a testament of why the band is where they are today! Get it today you psychobilly punk rocker!
