This five song EP by Coffee Shower out of L'Aquila, Italy is quite impressive. Coffee Shower started wripping up Italy like a runaway Vespa in 1999. They can be heard playing fast and melodic songs that reflect influences such as an AFI or Lagwagaon. Coffee Shower are in the process of making a name for themselves and this EP is a great start. If these guys hailed from the United States I'm sure they would been rewarded with a label by now, but I'm sure there time and break will come soon. The vocals of Fausto have the tradition melodic punk rock foundation, but on occasion you can hear him busting out with his quasi-Davey Havok vocals while his brother Pierluigi supports him with back-up vocals. For more information email the band at coffeeshower@hotmail.com or look for them on the web at http://www.planetpunk.co.uk/coffeeshower.asp
