I`m very stoked to hear The Get Up Kids growing and doing what they want on every album. And with so many side projects and their own studio, they can do just about anything they want. After Matt's New Amsterdams being highly rated in several magazines and James going berzerk with Reggie And The Full Effect, they all came together and wrote this record. It's a good display of their talent individually, and together as a band. The first track features an uptempo melody which knocks your socks off, but you already feel the vibe of the record in it, which is very cool indeed. The second song (the one you want) is the first meeting with the new record if you ask me: refreshing guitarriffs and very cool basslines. Tracks 3, 5, 8, 9, 10, 12 are the rather soft tunes, the rest... isn't. But 11 and 13 (The Dark Night Of The Soul and Conversation) are more or less the experimental tracks (guest review - Stijn from punkupdates.com).
