Writing very negative reviews is always hard, but the point of writing reviews is to give the reader an idea of what to expect. There isn't much to expect with the newly released Drive-Thru Records dvd. You can choose from mediocre "Acoustic Performances", "Home Videos" which are absolutely atrocious and kiddy, "Live Footage" which was mostly shot at Skate and Surf Fest, or band videos which was probably the highlight of the dvd. I haven't seen many of the latest Drive-Thru videos which are actually very well put together. I was very disappointed at the lack of substance the dvd posessed and feel it catered too much to the 12 year old fan base. There are mature 18 year old + fans out there that don't find bands sitting in a diner talking funny, or watching The Early November acting like they're five to be that entertaining. I have to admit I liked Drive-Thru in the beginning but the kiddy catering has to come to an end if they expect to keep their true fans that aren't out there to ride on a band's latest single.

Seeing Home Grown puke was funny though. The rest was very "fruitty". Sorry I couldn't come up with a better description. If you wanna feel like you're 12 again by all means buy it, but I think the majority of you would rather pass. I sure hope you would!
