"The Silent Circus" is my introduction to this band and in no way are they anywhere close to silent. With a very unique blend of metal and hardcore, the band has come up with an album filled with distinct songs that are hard to follow at times. The first track "Lost Perfection a) Coulrophobia" is a good example of what you will find in nine tracks that will follow. One minute you're listening to hardcore grunts, and the next you're sitting back listening to spacey sounding guitar riffs. Tracks that follow including the tempo filled "Camilla Rhodes" and"Ad A dglgmut" keep you guessing as to what you will hear next. To be flat out and honest "The Silent Circus" has too many things going on for me to be able to sit down and follow regularly, but that's not to say this isn't a good disc. I urge you to pick it up because there aren't many bands that have the song writing skills to put together such a diverse and far reaching album of this magnitude.
