The letter they sent me told me this record would make me cum on myself.  I don’t need a record to cum on myself…that’s for sure; I’ve got my Taylor Hanson photos for that.  I’ve been told he’s actually a guy only recently, but I have all these magazines, and posters…but that’s beside the point. This record is full of rock and roll. I like some of it, I don’t like some of it, but through and through, it is a good cd. It stresses the art of music vs making money, and thus collected a list of artists such as Iggy Pop (who does some intro, a song, interlude, and conclusion), grunge heroes’ Mudhoney, Cave-in, Weezer, and the Icarus Line, among others. The album is very rock oriented…not a lot of “punk” or “metal” on here, so you kids into the indie scene should for sure pick it up. Highlights include Cave-in’s song “harmless armless/minus world” and Weezer’s “you won’t get with me tonight” (which is a b-side from the Pinkerton sessions…ie, the last good Weezer album). I’m not really into the indie/rock music scene, so I wont pretend I have a lot of knowledge on it, but even for someone as differently oriented as I am, this cd is very good, totally listenable, and would be an awesome background for parties etc. Definitely recommend.
