The Bigoz Quartet's release, "Leave the Guns and Bring the Cannoli" impresses me in some aspects, and disappoints me in others. Their sound is common, the music I would have to say sounds like a far less emotional Taking Back Sunday. However the voice goes well with the music. Everything blends together well and nothing is too overpowering. One song in particular that stood out was "Drugstore Queen" which sound clean and well put together. Throughout most of the album however, the songs just bleed into one another and nothing really jumps out to differentiate this band from any other band. I would have to say their strongpoint is their vocalist.
