I have to say I'm quite impressed with Jackson's debut. I've heard their name thrown around the L.A. scene for some time now, but never heard any music to back up what I've heard about them. The band includes a member of the Foo Fighters (Chris Shiflett), his brother Scott (Face To Face) and Pete Parada (Face To Face and Saves The Day). A combination of the Foo Fighters, Face To Face, and rockers like Weezer is the best way to describe these guys. The ep is short but sweet and flows nicely. For a band that just formed, but that has an obvious variety of talent this is one hell of a debut. Look for Jackson on the Warped Tour for a few select dates, and I'm sure much much more.
