The Hard Ups began playing an unknown style of music in 1994, and now seven years later have become a highly respected Spanish punk/hardcore band. The bands defining moment was playing in support of Lag Wagon on the Hoss European Tour. Since that experience their sound has changed to reflect more of a Swedish style, but have always kept some aspects of their original sound which reflect a myriad of influences. The Hard Ups are an amazing band that find a way to turn the already high level of Spanish hardcore into one with incredible quallity and precision. For anyone who is into the whole "emo-melo-punk-core" scene..... this albums for you. My respect of Spanish hardcore has remained high with the Hard Up's latest release.
