The Lawrence Arms are always the best lead off batter any compilation could have. On "Uncontrollable Fatulence" it's no different. There song of choice is the short yet explosive "Presenting The Dancing Machine (il robot con la testa di scimmia). You can't go wrong with "Back to the Motor League" by Propaghandi either. For those of you that are horny, the Mad Caddies are back with "Leavin", while the comical quartet of the Dillinger Four come through for you with "file under Adult Urban Contemporary" which is from their Fat debut "Situationist Comedy". It's track five of "Uncontrollable Fatulence"..... do you know where your Lagwagon is? Hell yea dudes and dudettes. Joey Cape made it though the Warped Tour and is back and leading the unreleased song extravaganza with "Never Stops". Strung Out is strung out as usual with "Your Worst Mistake" which is as unreleased as Strung Out gets. What can I say about the hillbilly hardcore of Beau Beau and the boys of Avail. It just satisfies my southen appetite like a keg of grits. "Blue Times Two" is great so listen to it jerk off! It was plucked just for you the listeners from their debut Fat release "Front Porch Stories". Anti-Flag tears up the shizzle on the nizzle with "Federation" adding a intense, unifying, and uplifting sound we've all come to appreciate about the band. NOFX + "Mattersville" = Wow, what an incredible and funny song. The following is an excerpt "There's a place some of us choose to live, gated community cops can't come in. A neighborhood for punks over the hill, we spend our golden years in Mattersville." It definately makes you feel better about getting older. Then there's Wizo's "I Hate You" which needs to be listened to on a set of earphones, because the sound will make your head spin. It's pretty rad... give it a try. What a way to finish..... with none other than Me First and The Gimme Gimme's with "Nothing Compares 2 U" and the stylistically and Fat fashion we've all come to love in them. There are still a few tracks of bands I didn't mention but I could write a page about this compilation (the best Fat comp. yet). The following bands don't suck but I didn't want to sit here all day writing. I got girls to do (jooooooooooke) and people to see. Rise Against, Less Than Jake, No Use For A Name, Swingin' Utters, Frezal Rhomb, Sick Of It All, and Good Riddance don't suck so make sure to check out their tunes as well.
