Reviews
Hopesfall has really raised the bar for hardcore with their Trustkill debut, and I am afraid that no review under 45 paragraphs will do this cd enough justice. So without really trying, I'll just describe it. Hopesfall likes atmospheric riffs with screaming all over the place. Hopesfall likes to change moods 345 times in one song. Hopesfall likes to use acoustic guitars out of nowhere. Hopesfall likes to write pretty instrumentals. Hopesfall likes to use heavy guitars. Hopesfall likes to use light, pretty sounding guitars. Hopesfall like to have the best cd art ever. Hopesfall has a good drummer. Hopesfall's singer has a good voice, whether it be death-all-over-your-face screaming, or sweet serenading singing. Hopesfall's songs often sound like 5 songs in one. Hopesfall has the most crossover appeal I've ever heard out of a band in awhile. Hopesfall's music can appeal to fans of hardcore, emo, metal, and indie rock. Hopesfall likes to create the most beautiful, melodic and intricate hardcore you've ever heard. Hopesfall likes to create the most death and destructive hardcore you've ever heard. Hopesfall also likes to have Matt Talbot of the band Hum produce and also guest sing a song on this album. Hopesfall likes to make music that nobody can top in this genre. So anyways, this cd is extremely good, and I wonder how in the world they can top this. But something tells me they can, and will continue to for the rest of their career. This is one of the top 5 cd's released this year, and there is absolutley no reason why you shouldn't buy this. If you were maybe wanting to download a song or two before downloading, I suggest "Waitress" or "Decoys like Curves." BUY THIS. That is all..
