Now onto the music which there is a lot of. Drive Like Jehu posseses a sound so complex that one would think it could only be made in a laboratory. But with the talent of the four veterans listed above it's no suprise they had the ability to make the type of album that band's have tried to repeat without success. "Yank Crime" was the band's second full length that didn't go over to well with the punk rock critics. Through all the rough edges Trombino, Reis, Froeberg, and Kenndy still managed to squeeze out a full length in 1994 on Interscope. In all honesty a lot of people won't be able to stand the sounds, rythms, and vocals but you guys don't know what you're missing. From Tool to so many others, Drive Like Jehu have continued to be a major influence in music even though the band has stopped playing. Besides the original tracks, two more have been added from the Merge 7" and a previous recording of Sinews from the compilation "Head Start To Purgatory". Drive Like Jehu made their mark, they continue to make although they have disbanded, but this re-release definately deserves a quality listen by those in all types of genres!
