Loud rock with a few shots of indieness has created what is known as Favez. On previous albums such as "A Side on the Line Again" it contained a darker more somber and depressing feeling compared to "From Laussanne". Even though the dark melodies may still remain, the band has taken a more upbeat approach which in the end makes for a well rounded disc. While tracks "And It Rains Like Hell" and "Troubled Life Blues" take on a more bland approach, Favez steps things up with "Don't Let The Riot In" and "Son of Steve McQueen". A very developed, creative, and mature package of unique rock make Favez a band to check out.
