This double cd consists of "Stereo" and "Mono", which both make me wonder what the hell is going on??? I think with the signing of Paul Westerberg Vagrant was trying to branch out, and unfortunately I think the branch will break when these two cd's are released. Both cd's were recorded in Westerberg's home in Minnesota, but each cd contains a different "feel". "Stereo" gave me a headache, and I even tried listening to it four different days making sure I wasn't PMS'ing or something. It's just annoying rock n' roll that I feel doesn't belong on an indie/emotional punk label but that's for Vagrant to decide. "Mono" is more the rock out with your cock out rock n' roll that Replacement's fans will be used to. Paul Westerberg may be one of the most talented song writers in rock n' roll but this album did nothing for me, and I'm eager to see what it does for others in the punk and indie scene. It started off stale and got moldier as time went on.
