It's great to see a compilation with both established bands, and ones looking to make their mark. "Because We Care" was the idea of Kevin Knight of Glue Factory Records. It features everything from the melodic punk of Rufio "In My Eyes accoustic" to the indie-rock esque tunes of Campground Effect "Things I'd Rather Not Have Heard", and Thrice is doing their part with "Eleanor Rigby". You can also look forward to Fairview doing a live, accoustic version of "Telegram" and Game Face covering Jackson Brown's "Doctor My Eyes". For those of us who aren't from California (like myself) this compilation is a great way to be introduced to Orange County's rising talent, which there is a lot of. The hospital is Orange County's only resource for pediatric care, and is a non-profit hospital exclusively serving infants, children, and adolescents. Every cent from the compilation will go to helping the hospital grow.
