I may hate Chris Carrabba's new haircut, but feel that he has taken one huge step forward since his last release on Vagrant "The Places You Have Come To Fear The Most". He doesn't do it alone either. Along side Chris is Dan Hoerner (Sunny Day Real Estate) on guitar and he is definately a warm addition to the already successful "emo power house". One thing that sets these four songs apart from ones in the past is the different type of energy set forth. The songs may be about relationships but there is a more "hopeful" and "optimistic" feeling to the ones in this EP. "So Impossible" contains twelve minutes of complete genius that should be heard by all. The only complaint I have is the length of the EP, but that just makes me wonder what is in store for the future. If it's anything like the past it's going to be filled with new twists and turns, and more additions to the "Dashboard".
