Fat Mike, El Hefe, Eric, and Erik come through again with a great idea and Fenominal (the F's for Fat) compilation of NOFX's history. The album features unreleased versions of songs, songs off compilations, and 7's. The compilation features two cd's the first one with highlights such as "We Threw Gasoline" (an unreleased song needed for Punk-o-Rama 3", "Drugs Are Good" (rejected off "Punk In Drublic"), "Lower" (from the "Bottles To The Ground ep"), "Electricity" (from a New Wave comp), "We Aint Shit" (rejected off of "Punk In Drublic"), "Pods And Gods" (which is the 7" for the song, and Fat Mike loved it then after recording it they hated it), and lastly the absolutely funny version of "Eat The Meek" (It's all about the Dub Mix). Don't be fooled, there are fifteen other kick ass tracks that are sure to keep you entertained while you do your drugs and listen to disc 1.
Disc 2 was made in a pretty incredible way and I will include Fat Mike's explanation from the CD book. "One day about six years ago while drinking and listening to some old 7's such as SOA, Necros, Agnostic Front, and Urban Waste, I start thinking that these record all sound different, they all sound shitty. So this is what we did: First I booked a day at Motor Studios and told the band to meet me there to record something. The day before we're supposed to go in I write 13 songs giving myself a 10 minute limit on each one. The next day we go into the studio and set up equipment that's not ours and I tell the band we're gonna record 13 new songs and mix them today. The idea is to record the songs before anybody knows them. It's the only way for us to get true sloppiness. So I show the band how a song goes and we shove it our ass. We got a bunch of letters and e-mails from kids who don't have record players and blah blah, and whatever, we decided to put them out as a bonus disc. We left one song off each though, just to annoy people, a bit.... Annoyed?............. Good" - Fat Mike
Disc 2's highlights are "Fun Things To Fuck", "Fuck The Kids (revisited), "I gotta Pee" (which is the funniest song I've ever heard), "I'm Tellin Tim", and "Murder The Government". There's no ifs, ands, or asses..... These may be "45 or 46 songs that weren't good enough to go on our other records", but they are also 45 or 46 songs you're going to be totally stoked to listen to.
