It's such a satisfying experience to put in a disc and a band's growth since their last release. Compared to "More Betterness" "Hard Rock Bottom" buries it in the Fat Wreck grave. You're introduced to their evolution with the slow progression of the song "Feels Like Home" into tracks like "International Home" and "Let Me Down" which pick up the pace, and come across with the traditional vocals of "Tony No Use". Other highlights included "This Is A Rebel Song" featuring Dance Hall Crasher vocals. By far the most impressive track, and one that is going to have the greatest impact on the listener is "Insecurity Alert". It's inspired by the nightmare we have all become to know as September 11th. No Use For A Name has taken a huge step in the making of "Hard Rock Bottom" and has taken a big enough step to make this the Fat album of the year thus far!
