More like Every Aven-Eww. Seriously though, you should already know what this sounds like. It's pop-punk, it's on Fearless Records. Do I really need to go any further? The press release starts off with the question, "It's all been done before, so how do you keep the music fresh?" I don't know and apparently neither do Every Avenue.

Really, this is just more of the same thing Fearless has been putting out over the past few years. Pop punk with a HEAVY influence on the pop and none of the innovation that real pop artists bring to the genre. It's catchy in the right places, the hooks are perfect, and there's an awful lot of songs about girls. Combine this with ultra-slick production and Every Avenue are just dropping their songs into the now all too familiar pop-punk formula.

Shh...Just Go With It is a release that's going to sell well and propel this band into the undeserved stratosphere of fleeting popularity among scenesters the world around. And that makes me very, very sad.
