This is the first cd (split) whatever you want to call it that I really feel priviledged to have before the rest of the listening public. The phenominal creativity Alkaline Trio sets forth on this split is a taste of what I believe is still to come. Alkaline Trio can be heard covering Hot Water Music's "Rooftops" while HWM covers Alkaline Trio classics "Radio" and "Bleeder" in that Hot Water Music kind of way. The two new Alk3 tracks "Queen of Pain" and "While You're Waiting" are going to catch a lot of you by suprise. Neither song compares to any song of any of their previous releases. This release is one of those you can put on repeat and you will get more into it as the disc spins away. The official release date is January 22, 2002 but are available for pre-order at jadetree.com.
