On July 25th we will release Over It Outer Banks. This album is comprised of the long out-of-print and largely sought after EPs, Over It and Hindsight is Always 20/20, digitally re-mastered, and with brand new artwork that is a companion piece to Over ItWelcome to Virginia: The Ready Series. These songs were written when Over It were all in High School in a suburb of Washington DC, and span the time when they entered into young adulthood. That growth is mirrored in the music that this seminal emopunk band played, inspiring dozens of bands in the process. On Outer Banks, Over It finds their signature sound in fast, technical, hard-hitting yet melodic rock that is now commonly known as emopunk. You can also hear hints of the mid-tempo masterpieces Over It would write after moving from Virginia to California, including an acoustic version of their classic song, "Fall." Outer Banks is a must have for any Over It fan to get an inside glimpse into their early years and the development of their signature sound.

On July 25th we will release Over It Welcome to Virginia: The Ready Series. This is the classic debut album by one of the creators of the emopunk movement, Over It. This album has been re-mixed by Cameron Webb (Silverstein, Social Distortion, Sum 41), digitally re-mastered, and has brand new artwork that is a companion piece to Over It Outer Banks. Originally recorded at the turn of the millenium, this album seamlessly melds driving fast drum blasts, melodic yet technical guitar parts, and thumping bass lines with mid-tempo moments that create an unaviodable urge to "rock out." Peter Munters provides touching vocals that at times soar into the stratosphere and others softly caress with the most gentle touch. With lyrics that tug at your heart-strings like no other, Welcome to Virginia: The Ready Series is an album that represents youth, hope, energy, and the feeling that the future is wide open.
