We're going to try to rent a van or something to get back out asap but we can't leave until monday because nothing is open right now since its the weekend, so we're sorry to the kids that will be missing us at the next couple shows, thank you in advance for anything you do to help us, we appreciate everything.

snotty_mcpunker why do bands that get their shit stolen keep asking for donations?? tough it out yourselves. back in the day the cromags didnt ask for paypal donations, and they were much tougher than you morons. plus if your music sucks, maybe your van getting stolen is a sign from god. furiousweebee Wow, way to support bands, asshole. Apr 17, 2005
BrettlyChrist Call me crazy but if i really liked a band and their shit got stolen I'd help in whatever way I could to help them, being that I would want to see them come around and play a show. Apr 17, 2005
snotty_mcpunker bands these days are pussies. there are other ways to support a band than to paypal them money. as i said, as the cromags or any other original punk bands that were around before the internet. fuck, even doa played around the entire west coast and didnt even have a minimum, they just passed a hat around at the end of the show and what they got as what they got.

then again, they were playing with bands like black flag, considerably better than the shit that comes out today.

how is passing a hat around for donations from fans any different from asking for donations from fans through pay-pal?

furiousweebee At the end of the day, if you don't feel it's a worthy cause, don't donate. If you do support the band and want to help them get back on their feet, regardless of whether bands from yesteryear did the same thing, donate some money to their cause. Pretty simple. Apr 17, 2005
Bobby Teenager What's the big deal? I get my van stolen twice a year, but I'm still here. Maybe they should just learn to walk. Apr 17, 2005
