Brent Harding Joins Social Distortion

Brent Harding has joined Social Distortion, taking over bass duties from Matt Freeman. Freeman became a father at the end of Social D's fall tour and has since decided to stay home with his family. The Rancid bassist himself took over for long time member John Maurer in August of 2004.

Harding toured with Mike Ness in 1999 in support of his solo record Cheating at Solitare and played bass on the follow up Under The Influences. He will join the band on the road this February alongside Street Dogs and Backyard Babies (from: punknews.org).
