Billie Joe Armstrong Of Green Day Not Dead Yet

Reports floating around the Internet today that Billie Joe Armstrong was killed a car crash yesterday are greatly exaggerated according to the corpse. In a post at Greenday.net, the rumours have been tackled head on with the statement "despite what you may have heard rumored on the internet, Billie Joe did not recently die in a car accident. Billie Joe, Mike, and Tre are all fine."

Mike is especially fine after his recent visit to The Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles to witness the Aussie Invasion tour with Jet, The Vines and The Living End. It was The Living End who he went to see and he tells Green Day fans at his website "It was a smokin' show and suggests that everyone who has the chance go see The Living End."

Green Day have been working on a new album, once again with producer Rob Cavallo. So far they have recorded 35 songs. The yet to be titled album will be their first since 2000's 'Warning' (undercover.com.au).
