No Mohawks Allowed In Football

Posted by Eddie Cash on Monday, November 19, 2007 at 12:49 PM

About 25 members of a high school football team in Pennsylvania were told they'd risk getting suspended unless they shaved their mohawk haircuts before an upcoming game.  Apparently the school doesn't allow them.  I guess the punk rock spirit of the hairstyle fell on flat ears.  In other news, Mohawks are now certified lame.

CD Great comment biz.
Anyway, can we really see the mohawk under their huge helmet ? No.

If they wanted to wear studded shoulder pads, now we'd have something to cry about.
It would make college football more interesting, though.

biz Funny...there are thousands of school teams named after Native American tribes, but when a team would use a traditional Native hair style they can't. Nov 19, 2007
hiimshaundotcom Who cares. It's just hair. Nov 19, 2007
Shipwreck No, mohawks are not lame, but jockhawks indeed are and will allways be lame. I agree with the school, why let the jock hawk be acceptable cause it's totally not! Nov 19, 2007
