Marilyn Manson vs. My Chemical Romance

Marilyn Manson has stuck the knife into fellow goth types My Chemical Romance, claiming they're ripping him off. In an interview with The London Paper he revealed that the song 'Mutilation Is The Most Sincere Form Of Flattery', from his new album 'Eat Me, Drink Me', is about Gerard Way's outfit. It features the blunt lyrics, "Fuck you, fuck you".

He elaborated on his attack on the band, saying, "I'm embarrassed to be me because these people are doing a really sad, pitiful, shallow version of what I've done.

"If they want to identify with me then here's a razor blade. Call me when you're done and we'll talk."

CD Gerard Way's gonna need some kleenex to wipe the mascara off is wet eyes after reading this... Unless it looks dramatic... then that could help their cause, I guess. Jun 6, 2007

The Reverend Sub-Zero But MCR is not really ripping Manson off. They're just being overly dramatic emo-goths ala AFI. And Manson should really watch the "rip-off" thing, since he's pretty much been aping the style of Skinny Puppy and Sisters of Mercy his whole career. Jun 6, 2007
