Fakeknife is a punk rock band from Northern NJ. Our musical style ranges from fast and catchy, to hard-hitting and powerful. Our influences span from Lagwagon and Rise Against to Operation Ivy and Metallica. In August 2003, Sal and Brian decided it was time to come out of hiding and do something musically once again. They were tired of driving around aimlessly every weekend and wasting their lives away. With the help of Fabio on drums, Fakeknife was born. Soon after, Mike Lama, a mutual friend, was recruited on second guitar. With a couple of songs that Sal and Brian had written, and a powerful lineup, the band was ready for the coming months. The outcome being a 3 song EP. The main focus of Fakeknife is to play punk rock without barriers. To blend different musical styles in such a way, that they become one.
