It all got started in October of 2002 when we our guitar player (Mike), drummer (Tang), and bassist (Sam) met at a party. We all three got together and started out as a cover band until a week later we found our vocalist Jeremy (who went to school with Mike). After that One Short a Dozen was born, in which we started to write original songs.
Our music was described by Scene magazine as being "...cute enough to make girls sigh and fast enough to make boys slam to its aggressively sweet/hard emo sound. ..." With our emotional vocal styles mixed with a fast/aggresive guitars and bass and the drums that pull it together give the bands music its unique sound.
We have played at venues such as the Agora, Peabodys, the Pit, highschool gyms, rented halls, and backyard parties... come check out a show..
